iGEN 4 installed in Canberra!

In April 2010, Bytes 'n Colours became the proud owners and operators Canberra's first iGEN 4. After a full month of testing, our machine is now in full production.

Combined with our ORIS Colour Management System, the iGEN 4 produces vibrant and consistent colours on a large variety of textured and smooth stocks. The remarkable results when printing on textured papers has allowed us, for the very first time, to add textured papers to our stock range.

With new technologies and features the iGen4 offers quality colour and image definition that is monitored throughout the job, creating consistency from the first print to the last. The iGen4 delivers picture perfect results on every page.

The key to fast turnaround time

Printing at up to 110 pages per minute or more than 6500 A4 per hour you can feel confident we can produce your job quickly and efficiently without compromising on the best image quality.

The largest cut sheet size

The iGen4 has the largest sheet size of any digital colour press with a maximum size of 364 x 571 mm. (Printable area 358 x 565 mm). With the sheet size available we can now print posters just under A2 size, folders that can be personalised plus a whole range of promotion items such as wine boxes, tidy boxes etc. The iGen 4 allows printing on thicker stock (350gsm) perfect for business cards and presentation folders.

Environmental friendly

The iGen4 has been designed to help reduce our environmental footprint. The iGen4 uses dry inks that are non-toxic and minimise waste. More than 97% of its components are recyclable or re-manufacturable. In parternership with Fuji Xerox, Bytes 'n Colours returns more than 90% of consumable for recycling
